How does 'blocking' work?

What we block is based on your selected 'area of change,' and specified 'triggers.' For example, if you've selected Unwanted Sexual Behavior as your area of change, then we will monitor and block all text activity on your device for a master list of implicit and explicit sexual websites/words/phrases. If you've added 'custom words/phrases' and/or 'custom apps and websites then we'll block what you've added in addition to our master list.

How does 'accountability' work?

Users can add anyone of their choosing as an accountability partner to their LeadMeNot account with (1) an email address and (2) a phone number. Partners do not need to install the app themselves. Once users go beyond set boundaries, partners are notified via email and SMS

This all may seem weird and uncomfortable if you're not used to the idea of accountability. We encourage you to give it a shot, even if you don't know how it'll turn out! Find a trusted friend, who you know is committed to your success, and help them understand the change you're seeking and why you're interested in leveraging LeadMeNot.

How do you use Artificial Intelligence?

Artificial Intelligence, or AI, is a core component of our vision here at LeadMeNot. Our initial release will not have AI available, but we are planning to roll out an AI-driven enhancements in the coming weeks.

Yes! LeadMeNot secures data-in-motion and data-at-rest. We also exclude capturing sensitive financial data. We don't have the ability to exclude data capture from specific applications but are working to add this in.

Are you selling my data?

No! LeadMeNot does not sell any data to 3rd parties (refer to our Privacy Policy), and only collects data for the betterment of our users (specifically, to build and improve our predictive models).

Which devices do you run on?

Today, LeadMeNot is available on Android, iOS, Windows & Mac devices. We are continuing to expand our feature sets available across all platforms.
