How does 'blocking' work?

What we block is based on your selected 'area of change,' and specified 'triggers.' For example, if you've selected Unwanted Sexual Behavior as your area of change, then we will monitor and block all text activity on your device for a master list of implicit and explicit sexual websites/words/phrases. If you've added 'custom words/phrases' and/or 'custom apps and websites then we'll block what you've added in addition to our master list.

How does 'monitoring' work?

Is 'accountability' right for me?

This all may seem weird and uncomfortable if you're not used to the idea of accountability. We encourage you to give it a shot, even if you don't know how it'll turn out! Find a trusted friend, who you know is committed to your success, and help them understand the change you're seeking and why you're interested in leveraging LeadMeNot.

Is my data safe?

Yes! LeadMeNot secures data-in-motion and data-at-rest. We also exclude capturing sensitive financial data. We don't have the ability to exclude data capture from specific applications but are working to add this in.

Which devices do you run on?

Today, LeadMeNot is only installable on AndroidOS devices. We are working to make our solution available across all devices, with a priority towards iOS next, followed by desktop operating systems.

How does 'accountability' work?

Users can add anyone of their choosing as an accountability partner to their LeadMeNot account with (1) an email address and (2) a phone number. Partners do not need to install the app themselves. Once users go beyond set boundaries, partners are notified via email and SMS

How much does this cost?

We are currently offering a 7-day Free Trial that converts to a $5/month subscription. This is part of our pricing experimentation to find ways to build a sustainable business. Until we find a business model that works for us and our goals, please email us if cost is an issue at jason@leadmenot.org.

How do you use Artificial Intelligence?

Artificial Intelligence, or AI, is a core component of our vision here at LeadMeNot. Our initial release will not have AI available, but we are planning to roll out an AI model in the coming weeks.

Are you selling my data?

No! LeadMeNot does not sell any data to 3rd parties (refer to our Privacy Policy), and only collects data for the betterment of our users (specifically, to build and improve our predictive models).
